Who are we?
In 2010, I started working as a freelance city guide in Delft with the aim of bringing its history to life. But the city has more to offer than just old stories. Delft is a bustling university town with its cosy cafes, nice restaurants and atmospheric shopping streets. As a guide, it is important to give visitors a good idea of daily life in the City of Princes. Within a year, I had my own set up its own guide organisation in cooperation with a small group of enthusiastic city guides, on whom the dust has not yet settled. The city guides always lead the groups through Delft with great enthusiasm and know how to respond well to the group.
For StadsgidsDelft, one thing is always central; everything we offer must have a relationship with the history and of the city. Our website therefore does not feature games such as 'Ik Hou van Holland' or 'Wie is de Mol', which are performed in every city and therefore have nothing to do with the city. The appreciation we receive from our customers for this approach encourages us to continue with it. With years of accumulated experience and a personal approach, we provide a unique experience in Delft.
On behalf of our entire guide team, I would like to thank all the clients who enjoyed Delft with us. One thing has become clear after two years of lock-downs....what we missed the guide work. See you soon in Delft!
